Challenge

This week, pupils are encouraged to take responsibility in a shared focus across the school.

Classes should agree on one area to prioritise, such as looking after the environment, listening well, being honest, or another focus that suits the school.

Pupils should be given opportunities to demonstrate responsibility through their actions in this area throughout the week.

Teachers may support this by noticing, recognising, and reinforcing responsible choices as they happen.

This can be revisited in class or in the next assembly to reflect on whether the focus made a difference and how responsibility was shown across the school.
