Challenge

This week, pupils are encouraged to show ambition in their learning and interactions across the school.

Classes should promote a focus on aiming a little higher, encouraging pupils to improve their work, try again, and take the next step in their learning.

Pupils should be supported to recognise ambition in themselves and others, using positive and ambitious language to describe their efforts and progress.

Teachers may reinforce this by noticing, celebrating, and modelling ambitious behaviours and language throughout the week.

This can be revisited in class or in the next assembly to reflect on how ambition was demonstrated and how it supported progress and confidence across the school.
