Do - What Would You Do?
Let’s go back to the story for a moment.
Two pupils both wanted the same football at break time, and they started to argue. Each of them felt like they were right, and things were beginning to get a bit heated. Then they paused and thought about their school values, which helped them find a way to solve the problem.
Turn to the person next to you, or talk in a small group, and think about what might have happened if they had not stopped to think about their values.
Would the situation have improved, or could it have got worse?
Talk about what helped them solve the problem in the end, and how values like fairness, respect, and taking turns made a difference.
If there is time, your teacher might ask a few people to share their thoughts.
