Do
You’ve just heard how honesty can feel a bit uncomfortable in the moment, but how it helps in the long run.
Turn to the person next to you, or work in a small group, and I’m going to give you a few situations.
Your job is to decide what an honest response would sound like.
Here are your situations.
- You accidentally knock something over, and no one saw.
- You teacher asks if you did your homework, and you didn’t.
- Your friend asks if you like their drawing, and it’s… interesting, and they are really proud of it.
Talk together about what you would say in each situation.
What would honesty sound like in that moment?
If there is time, your teacher may ask some of you to share your ideas.
