Do
Now it’s your turn.
Your teacher may ask you to do this as a whole class, in small groups, or with the people sitting near you.
In a moment, you are going to stand up and carefully shuffle a little closer together so that nobody is left out on their own.
Not squashed. Not chaos. Just enough to make space for everyone.
Because that is what the penguins do.
They stick together. They help each other. And they make sure everyone is part of the group.
Once everyone is settled back in their own space, take a moment to reflect on these questions.
• Why do you think the penguins stay together? • How can friendship help people feel safe, included, and part of something?
If there is time, your teacher may ask some of you to share your ideas.
