Welcome to Values in Action
Values help shape every school community. They influence how pupils treat one another, respond to challenges, make decisions and contribute to the culture of the school.
Yet values are often easier to display on a wall than they are to bring to life.
Values in Action is a ready to use assembly programme designed to help pupils explore what values look like in everyday life. Through a series of filmed assemblies, children discover that values are not simply words to remember, but behaviours that are lived through the choices they make every day.
Designed for primary schools, each assembly is fully filmed and simple to deliver. Staff can press play, facilitate the discussion activities and create meaningful opportunities for whole school reflection without extensive preparation.
Grounded in wellbeing, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the principles of Rights Respecting Schools, the programme helps schools develop a shared language around values while encouraging children to understand that every interaction, every decision and every response helps shape both the person they become and the community they create.
These assemblies are designed to spark conversations, strengthen relationships and help values move beyond the assembly hall into classrooms, playgrounds, homes and everyday life.
