Ask the children to sit together in a circle.
Instructions:
Start by giving a big smile to the child next to you.
Ask them to “catch” the smile and pass it to the next person.
Continue around the circle until everyone has had a turn.
Play again using different expressions, such as a silly face, surprised face or excited face.
Encourage the children to wait until the smile reaches them before taking their turn.
At the end, remind them that taking turns means waiting while someone else has their turn, knowing that yours will come too.
