Bullying can often come from making fun of the differences between certain people. Whether this is race, gender, sexuality, religion or personality, these differences should actually be celebrated. It’s what makes us so unique. Imagine a world where everyone was literally just like you. Everything just the same, all day, every day.
As a class, in small groups or individually share the following categories with your class: Race, Gender, Sexuality, Religion, Personality.
Ensure everyone understands what each word means.
Now think about each of these words and ask yourself WHY it is brilliant to have lots of different people with lots of things that make them unique in your life.
Explore what they can help you learn, stories they could maybe share or how their experiences could help make you a more rounded, kinder person.
