Failure can be such a beautiful thing.
Failure teaches us lessons on how not to do something. Failure leads us towards new, more creative ways of accomplishing tasks. Failure helps us grow. Failure should be celebrated.
For example, in 1492 Christopher Columbus set sail to find India. In reality, he discovered North America (well, technically, people had been there for hundreds of years, but he certainly ignited a new wave of trade and settlement). And although Columbus himself never actually set foot in the United States, his crew eventually went on to settle in the country we now know as the United States of America. His mission to find India failed, but that failure turned out to be beneficial for many generations to come (politics aside!).
So, with that in mind, we want you to write down what you think are the top 3 failures of all time. You’re welcome to put a little bit of research into this to see what you can discover from history, but 1 out of the 3 needs to be one of your own failures.
