A statue can represent all sorts of things. People, animals or even a special event.
In your small groups, have a discussion about statues. Here’s some questions to get you started.
What’s the best/worst statue you’ve ever seen?
Are there any famous statues near where you live?
Why would people buy a statue either for themselves or for others?
If you had to buy a statue for your garden, what would it be and why?
What sort of things might you need to think about before buying a statue?
Would there ever be a reason to remove a statue?
