It is time to explore some EMOTIONS!
Start by having a list of emotions as suggested by your class written on the board.
Invite a pupil up to mime one of these emotions to the class.
It may help them if they think of a scenario that has made them feel that way, as the presenter did in the video.
Pupils watching can pop their hand up and make suggestions.
Once someone has guessed, a new mimer will be invited up.
The aim of the game isn’t to ‘get it right’ but to open up a platform to discuss possible emotions and what is giving them away.
Once you have finished, discuss with your class how they can recognise emotions in others in different situations. For example, in class or the play ground, the park or at home.
