When we admire qualities we see in other people it can help us to reflect on our own skills and strengths and areas we might want to develop. I think it would be fair to say that I have very little control over how tall I grow, but I think if I practice I could become a better poet or tennis player, and I know that I can choose how kind, generous and considerate I am.
Think about your “mixed-up me” and discuss in your groups:
What qualities do you have no control over?
What qualities can you control and how?
