Create a BIONIC Bridge
It’s time to build a bridge between where you are now and your BIONIC goal.
First, think about the small steps that will help you reach your goal. You might want to discuss your ideas with a partner.
For example, if your goal is to drink more water, your steps might include:
Get a water bottle.
Fill it every morning.
Take it with you during the day.
Refill it when it is empty.
Choose water with your meals.
We would love you to draw your BIONIC Bridge.
Put yourself at one side and your goal at the other. Add each of your smaller steps across the bridge to show how you are going to get there.
You can also add encouraging words or reminders to help you along the way.
Keep your bridge somewhere safe. You’ll come back to it and see how you’re getting on.
Teacher Note: Consider pairing children with an accountability buddy to regularly check in on their goals. After a week, revisit the BIONIC Bridges as a class and reflect on what is working, what has been difficult and whether any steps need to change.
