Transferable skills can be found anywhere, in any situation. Whether you’re outside playing your favourite sport with friends or sitting at the dinner table with family – there are always skills that can be sharpened, there are always traits to be improved.
Most transferable skills are likely to be useful for the rest of your life. The confidence that you develop through playing netball at age 12 may just help you deliver a presentation to your colleagues at age 35. That’s why it’s so beneficial to take any opportunity you can to work on these skills.
