Superheroes are known for having superpowers; whether it’s super strength (e.g. Wonder Woman & The Hulk), super speed (e.g. Superman & The Flash), or even super bounciness (e.g. Bouncing Boy… look him up). In some cases these superpowers are simply super versions of normal skills, the type of skills that you or I could have.
Take Batman as an example, he is one of the most well-known superheroes of all time and yet he has no “superpower” in the regular sense. He can’t fly, he can’t see through walls, and he can’t teleport. Yet he is still a superhero. Batman’s superhero status comes from, amongst other things, his sharp problem solving skills and his highly trained martial arts skills – skills that you or I could be great at too.
However there is another thing that superheroes all have in common, and that is that they all have weaknesses. Yes, just like us, you’ll find that all superheroes have their weaknesses, the things that they struggle with and are not so good at.
“Build on your strengths, work on your weaknesses.”
