Andrew and the pupils in his class weren’t trying to leave anyone out of their games at school. They just didn’t really understand why the new kid didn’t want to play.
This meant that instead of being involved in the games in the playground, the laughter about it in class and the fun chat – they were a little left out.
Children can feel left out for a number of reasons, some may seem big and some may seem small. But when you are the person feeling left out, none of those reasons feel good.
