Do more of what you love.

What a lovely idea. For some reason though this is not always as straightforward as it might seem.

Why? Because life gets in the way. Responsibilities, commuting, marking, parents nights it all eats into our time leaving us with an ever more finite amount of time to squeeze in the stuff that makes life worth living.

Those of us that are lucky enough to experience real engagement in our professional lives tend to be the ones that are doing something we have a real passion for. If you work in education, having a passion for it is essential. If you don’t love it, how are you impacting the young minds you have the privilege of shaping everyday?

Passion alone however doesn’t mean that it is always easy to get the balance of time right though. That takes a little discipline and time management too!
